Mother Choice, a charity in Hong Kong, gave me a call yesterday to see if I can go and take pictures of an event that they are organising this Sunday. They would like me to take some snap shots of the event. In order to protect the privacy of their service clients, I am not allowed to post the pictures anywhere. I was very happy though, because this is going to be a very good chance for me to practice taking pictures for different purposes.

So all of a sudden, these charities come to contact me again.

And how about my part-time jobs?? Still no replies from ANY of the 10+ application letters I sent in the past 2 months! I don't mind doing charity work, because I like to work with children anyway, but it's always nice to have extra $$ isn't it?!

I received an e-mail from a charity in Hong Kong called Po Leung Kuk, asking for confirmation on whether I will help on their new English learning activities, starting from October this year. The programme is especially aimed at children who had moved onto Primary 1 aged about 6 or 7, and whose parents have no knowledge of English. It is designed to help the children to develop interest and habit in reading and to strengthen their comprehension and listening skills.

I have faxed them my confirmation, now just waiting for their reply.
