We bought a sippy cup for Baby Julian because whenever I was drinking from a cup he would stared at it. He seemed to be very interested of it. For more than once I gave my cup to him and he would hold it and pull it towards him to lick it.
I taught him to use his hands to hold on to the handle. He quickly master it, but sometime he got too excited and did not hold it in the correct way
He sometimes bit the teat and sometimes he could actually drink from it, but I noticed he would spit most of the water out. He was able to swallow little water I think, he could not yet control how much to swallow though as he sometimes choked.
