This is a quick and easy activity to set up. How to play: Let your kid cut out the shape (practice scissors skill, concentration) and stick the stickers according to the patterns on the instruction paper (fine motor skill, hand and eye corrdination, spatial relationship, observation) What you need: 2 pieces of paper, scissors,  stickers (in various shapes, optional), markers or colouring pencils How to prepare: 1. Draw some big simple shapes on both paper. You want them big and simple for easier cutting. 2. Draw patterns on the shapes. 3. Draw the same patterns on the stickers. Variations: You may build up the level of difficulties according to your kid's ability. For example: 1. Involve shapes with more sides e.g. pentagon 2. Involve similar patterns (as seen in the last picture) which needs careful observation 3. Or try same patterns but DIFFERENT colours 4. Instead of patterns you can do alphabets or numbers for younger preschoolers, or sight words for school kids #happymindswithbusma #handmadeeducationalproduct #homeeducation #learningactivities #handmadegames #earlylearning  #littlelearners #creativegames #playdiscovercreate #getcreativewith #creativechildhood #simpleisthebest #funlearningathome #learningthroughplay #playbasedlearning #learnwithjulianng #toddlerplay #toddleractivities #preschoolerlife #homeschool #afterschoolfun #afterschoolactivities #hkkids #hkmum #852mama #mydayswithkids #mylittlesteps #sassymamahk #hkmama #earlylearning101

Mother's Day today.
Nothing much special, I was still the one who woke up in the morning to look after J, and for the whole day!!
No rest at all.

Reading our recent favourite magazine "Story Box" from Bayard while waiting for the food in the restaurant.

We went swimming in the afternoon.
Water was freezing cold!
