Breakfast at Burger King with Mr. B:

Peeking at grandad:

Baby J wanted to stand up to drink his milk tonight:

Thursday 1 January 2015

Went out for a family lunch:

Munching biscuits at the restaurant:

He was sitting quietly and finished his congee

But then he got bored and started whining...

When J was only a few days old, we took a taxi to Mong Kok to see his pediatrician for jaundice.
This morning we took a taxi for going to lunch.
So to J it was new to him.
He was very quiet in the taxi, observing all the new stuff.

In the afternoon, we took a mini van from where we had lunch to Mr. B's parents house in Mong Kok.

This was J's 1st time on a mini van.
Again, sitting quietly in the van observing:

After visiting grandmother and grandfather, we took a bus back home:

Mr. B made a banner to celebrate Happy New Year:

Tuesday 30 December 2014

Doctor Chow confirmed that Julian was having Roseola. His throat was not swelling anymore, his lungs were cleared of mucus, and he had no fever. He was almost recovered except for the red spots on his body. Doctor recommended not to take the antibiotics or any medicines as J had no swelling and mucus already.

He was not eating well.
In the past I would prepare 4 teaspoons of rice which would make almost 2 bowls of thick congee with 1 meat and 2 veggies. This was for one meal.
For the past 2 days, I only prepare 3 teaspoons of rice and added loads of water to make thin congee, with only pumpkin or sweet potatoes, and this was shared for 2 meals.

More whining:

Bu bu bu bu bu...

Monday 29 December 2014

Baby J was better today, he was able to play on his play mat with his favourite DVD on while I went to clean the house. But he was still very clingy at most of the time.

He lost his appetite and was only able to eat 1/2 bowl of thin congee per meal.

We were not able to see Doctor Chow as he was already fully booked when I called his clinic at 10:30am. We will see him at 9:45am tomorrow.

The sick looking Baby J:

Clinging onto me:

Always pretending to have milk from my breast:

I was so glad he was constantly drinking water by himself,
which was very good especially when he was having a fever:

Chewing a piece of the play mat:

Sunday 28 December 2014

Baby J still had fever in the morning, but luckily it was gone in the afternoon. He was still very very clingy, and constantly want to sleep. He was eating very little, less than 1/2 bowl of congee per meal.

At bath time, Mr. B noticed red spots appearing on his body and the nappy area. We suspected it was Roseola. Will go and see a doctor tomorrow.
